The WSU Chapter of the Institute of Industrial Engineers received the GOLD award in recognition of the chapter's improvements, progress, and overall achievements in 2008-2009. Congratulations to faculty advisor Dr. Alper Murat, IIE Chapter President Vanda Ametlli, the IIE Board Representatives, and the rest of the Chapter Membership for their effort and hard work in achieving this recognition!

The IIE student organization was notified of the award by the national office in early September and received a certificate to commerate the accomplishment.

Faculty and staff at IME are extremely proud of the efforts of Dr. Murat and the students, and look forward to continued professional and service activities from the group.
